My mother is very big on doing things as a family, which I am grateful for. The weekend before my brother, Taylor, went back to Reno for his third year of college we did a lot of activities together.

Of course, most of my vacations consist of eating amazing food and there’s no way we could go to Chicago without getting deep-dish pizza! While I personally prefer New York style Pizza (Grimaldi’s being number one spot in Vegas) I do like to partake in a good deep dish while I’m out there.

Along with the two Cubs games we attended, my mom and I packed a lot into our short trip. She had given me a list of things that would be cool to do/see while in Chicago and we accomplished a good number of them.

The rest of the night was my favorite part of KL. While I love doing outdoorsy activities, these were experiences I have never had before and they were unforgettable. Sarah and I dressed in the nicest outfits we had brought (shorts and a cute top for me).
